No surprise, they go down after vacation/driving season EVERY year.

2.90somethin yesterday for 93 out in the boonies.

I love how we've been conditioned to think anything in the high 2 dollar range is cheap. We're still being buttraped.

I took this picture Monday in Tennessee. And I just talked to my boss, he's out in Ohio and said he saw gas for 2.29.

Good news, I know those greedy oil SOB where waiting and hoping Ornesto would blow everything away. I hope there are only a few small tropical storms this year. These guys prey on terrible circumstances. I think this is the main reason the prices are lower than last year. They had and have thier pockets ready for future hurricanes. Similar to it being dumb for people to rebuild their houses in Katrina, makes no sense to build refineries near problematic weather areas as well

I have a wild idea.

Lets convert all teh pump prices to litres. I doubt people would be bitching if they seen $1.01/litre.

I know. I cause some of the problem when people ask me how far to such and such. I just tell them in kilometers. Or when they ask how warm is it outside I tell them in celcius. Never understood why people in this country are so adament about sticking with the old imperial measuring system (ie foot, inch, yard, mile, pound, ounce, gallon , etc) Metric is SIMPLE.
