Those same signs and numbers are all over. There is or was one at the intersection for Northbound Rt 83 to Ogden and another at the I-55 south to Webber road exit. If you were making that much per month why the hell would you want to teach oter people to do the same. Wouldn't that be like cutting your own throat?

All it takes is one dipshit to actually 'bite' and give over some personal financial information.. It's all about identity theft, and the score of 1 legit person's info far outpays the time/effort to throw those signs up.

I've also seen those all over the place and thought the same exact thing - if you made that much, spend a little on your advertising!!

I'm half tempted to put a sign out there that says "Real Estate Investor seeks apprentice who can make legible road side signs"

I've seen a few of those around as well; including ones for "Affordable Healthcare".

Just wait until that transfer money from Africa starts to come through for me. We will see who laughs last.

so its indentity theft? I wasnt' sure what it was, I was thinking more along the lines of a pyrimid scam... but one of those thats quasi legal... putting up signs with phone numbers for a identity theft is pretty bold, it's only a matter of time till you get caught... But offereing to sell people a system on how to make money with real estate, one that costs $100, and you resell it with big promises for $1K hey, 10~20 suckers a month = $20K and it's not illegal...

turn the bars left and go right; that just isn't right

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

You are making the assumption that the police are going to do something about it. I highly doubt it. A guy wrote a bogus check for some stuff from my mothers retail store and when my brother went to go and collect from the a-hole, he called the police on my brother. The cop was giving my brother a hard time, running his record, patting him down. When my brother asked WTF, the cop said that if it wasn't over 5K, they couldn't do anything about it because "they do not have the resources." The guy was right there and the cop was unable to do anything.

Those who are the Slick-Ass-Talkers for a pyramid scam are not above selling your personal information (and those you gather) in bulk for further financial gain.

It's like a pile of shit sitting on the sidewalk. You may be curious, but you're best to just walk away.

Those damn signs are all over Naperville and Warrenville, too.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

There is legitimate money to be made in real estate. The issue is that it takes a lot of hard work and is time consuming. But if you don't want to work hard, then find an apprentice (i.e. SUCKER) to do all the time consuming calls and leg work for you. Promises of future riches could motivate a lot of these apprentice / SUCKERS who wish to "get rich quick".
