Red Goldwing Spotted by Blue and White Gixxer

I couldn't believe it. I'm cruising along down I-57, and a guy on a red Goldwing comes flying by me going at least 115 mph, I didn't even know they went that fast. He was using the cagers on the road like DMV cones. He was wearing a red scarf, and a sleeveless black vest. The nerve of some bikers . Anyone else see this guy? If you are a member of the board slow it down buddy .

That's makin' some time! I've only had my Old Wing up to about 90 or so, indicated of course. I have no idea what it was really running.

"For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon.' The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard..."

The first turn is the worst turn, between the left ear and the right one.

This was a late model wing, looked like Ken's ride

The old GL1500's would do between 117 - 120 indicated.

Not a tick more.

Been there....done that...this year in Sturgis. We were out in the middle of Wyoming one day on one of our long rides. WFO...116mph on the speedo, not sure "actual" speed, but that's all my Road King will do with the 1550 kit and SE203 cams. I have to admit it was pretty stable at that speed. However I couldn't get the idea of an animal running out onto the road out of my head while I was going that fast...but I had to see how fast the old HOG would go. It's not too often you get on a road where there is absolutly nothing around and you see nothing but 5 miles of flat smooth road in front of you...lots of fun! Wish I still had my ZX-12 on that day.

Shiny side up, rubber side down.
