Slash and Zakk rock Vodoo Chile

Two of my favorite guitarists rocking one of my favorite jams, how cool is that?

I just wish the Audio was better. :-(

If that's not rep worthy, y'all got issues.

Zakk Wylde was in town when he first started touring with Ozzie. Then, after he started doing his solo stuff he came back. Nice guy, great guitar player.

"For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon.' The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard..."

The first turn is the worst turn, between the left ear and the right one.

Best version of that song outside of Jimmie's was Stevie Ray Vaughn's...have to agree with you Ody. I can say that I had the pleasure of seeing him play that song at least a dozen times live in concert...including his last concert at Alpine.

I did like the YouTube version though...I love that song.

Shiny side up, rubber side down.

+1 SRV is definitely one of my favorites. If you ever check out my band (www.ToneDeft.org), there can be no doubt in your mind that I dig SRV.

(Not that I can play like him, or anyone can play like him for that matter...he was a one of a kind).

BTW, I saw KWS at the House of Blues recently and he did a surprisingly good version of this song. I was very impressed.

I saw him at Summerfest several years ago. He rocked, and he played that song. I haven't picked up his latest CD, but the one coming out in November looks promising. Check out his myspace page. I've got the first 3 of his CDs.

Notice you never hear people covering Voodoo Child (slight return)?

"For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon.' The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard..."

The first turn is the worst turn, between the left ear and the right one.

I've never heard someone cover STP-LSD either. Slackers.
