You can't DL vids from youtube as far as I know, unless you have the original upload link from the user.

That second video was awesome. Those guys are so freaking good at riding.

You can download videos from youtube and any other streaming media. If you use firefox its simple. There is a plugin called VideoDownloader. Getting them to play in windows media player classic is difficult but doable, otherwise your stuck with a FLV player.

Link to the firefox plugin.
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/

For IE go here,
http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php
All you have to do is copy the URL over to this site, and you can then download the video.

bup, bup, bup...these same guys invented the modern style of road racing...it translates directly IMO...ask the Brit fans what they thought when they watched Dave Aldana go wide at (i believe) Silverstone, run off, gas it, break the back end loose and shoot back on to the track...Freddie would slide BOTH tires into corners...unreal

Here's a shot of Aldana

They called him "death on wheels" for his riding style...you can see the result of that

Agreed Bro 100% but my recoil was for the fact that these guys oval raced, no? A bit diff when you come out of the slide and have to pick it up and lay it down on the other side and hold it then do the exact same thing again to the other side then gas it hard into a straight, for 28 laps - IMHO, 2 diff styles of racing

They came UP racing oval (dirttrack)...until the early 80's, Superbike and Flattrack were the same series, called the Grand National Championship...you had to run both, and many of the greatest road racers of all time (actually just about all of them, U.S. that is) were flattrackers...racing at a time (70's and 80's) when horsepower exceeded the ability of the tires, so you had to slide (i'm talking roadracing here)...try to youtube some old GP's and watch these dudes do it on the old 500 two-bangers...holy shit!!

Kenny's #4, on the Marlboro...and Freddie is the other fighting for the lead...for reference, that's the same Freddie Spencer that announces the AMA Superbike races...so when he talks, you should listen
