i stole gas!!!!

so i went to the gas station to fill up and normally i pay with a credit card...

well this time i was going to pay with cash and so i filled up. well once i was done filling up i left, completely forgetting to pay for it

so like 20 minutes later i get a voicemail from my mom telling me the police called the house.

long story short i went to the gas station and paid for it....i guess its when you dont pay they press charges

anyone else ever do this?

Back in 80s we called that a PNR. Pump and Run. Haha.

But that was before they would take your license and had all those cameras.

A few years ago we were up at the cottage and went into the Door. We got gas, went inside bought pop and stuff and paid for that, but not the gas. Then later we were all like "did you pay?". "No, did you?". "No did you?". Haha. We were so embarassed.

No phone calls though. And we don't go to that station anymore.

I find that removing the license plates off your car before filling up stops the phone calls from the police. Or as posted in another thread, bend your plate way up. Personally I distract with the pump and run, then steal slurpees and snickers bars.

Nice. My buddy actually drove off AFTER paying, but forgot the dispenser in the gas tank. Ripped the fucker right off the booth! Clerk runs out and charges him $200 to put it back on!! The fucked up part is he did twice, 2nd time he bolted.

My step dad did this recently AFTER he pumped gas. The funny thing is there is a picture on the internet of someone driving down the street with a gas pump dragging along side their car, and the caption says something like..."female drivers", but everytime I've ever heard of this actually happening, it was a MAN who did such a stupid thing!!

I accidently stole gas once, I pumped the gas and needed cigarettes also. I went inside asked for the cigarettes and assumed he put the gas on there as well. I paid with credit and didn't even look at the amount when I signed. I got halfway home and looked at the receipt and noticed he only carged me for the cigs. I went back and paid, and the guy was so happy he gave me a bunch of free carwashes.

df4iguy, that was a pretty bonehead move but we all make mistakes. At least you owned up to it and paid for your gas. I can just imagine the stomach dropping feeling you got when you heard the cops called looking for you. lol

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

That a good idea, to get free carwashes. Did that include the 10cent discount on gas too
