newest south park.....

the one about the dying 5 year old and the hockey team.

i thought it was terrible and not funny at all. really depressing, i do not understand why they would make that episode.

that pissed me of.

I must admit my soul felt a little empty after this episode as it was the first time I had considered the end of South Park. That episode was terrible and depressing.

Yeah, I was rather disappointed with the episode last night. Now the WoW from a few weeks ago is up there with one of the best. The best still have to be when Cartmen made that guy eat his parents in chili.

I think they are just trying to see how far they can push it. I think after this episode, they might realize that it they are past the brink of funny insulting and just messed up insulting. Or they might push it farther, but making fun of a 5 year old dying of cancer is hard to beat.

THis isnt like the PSP episode when Kenny's on life support and they pull the plug (based off the Terry Schiavo thing) which just happened to air for the first time the das she actually died.

Making fun of a 5 year old dying of cancer, obviously isn't funny. However, I don't understand why people watch south park and then get mad at what they just watched. South park has been around for a long time now, and everyone should know that the show will poke fun, at everything and anything, being highly offensive to some. That is why there is a tv remote and other channels to watch on cable. I like south park, and so far there hasn't been an episode that has personally offended me. I haven't watched this particular episode, and I don't really care if I see it now knowing what it is about. If I do happen to start watching it, I know that I can simply change the channel and be done with that episode.

the show has changed so much. I thought it was 10x funnier when the animation was crappy, and the shows were centered around random shit like Cartman getting an anal probe, or Stan's giant mutant clone.

I can't say I was offended, I just didn't find it funny.
Well it was kind of funny in that it sort of points out how much people worship thier coaches. Not being a sports fan of any kind, I find that stuff funny because I don't get how people can become so enamored with thier coach and think the world revolves around them and that they will have all the answers.

"Coach, does God hate me?"

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.

+1 No one forces you to watch any TV program or listen to any radio station. When you see something you don't like, whether it be South Park, Super-bikes, etc. change the channel. If you did this, there would be a better chance of that show not being there next season. Many of these shows get the highest ratings from people that are pissed off, than from the folks that like them .

I saw this one last night. Weird episode. It wasen't offensive, just not funny at all. It was very depressing. The shot at the end where the hockey kid is laying on the ice bleeding, slowly and quietly says, "I hate you coach, I hate you," (talking to Stan), was extra depressing. Oh well
