Try calling the Best Buy corporate office and see if they will price match it. It might save you a trip to the store and you'll only have to call that day. Someone said they were doing it with a 56" tv that day.

I'm hoping the AV guys will chime in here. What do you guys think of this tv at the price of $999 on Friday?

http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/produ...&cm_keycode=57

I'm not really looking for a new tv, but I've consider it. It seems like a good price for a good tv. I don't need the newest and best 1080p tvs out right now, but something to the replace to old 27" Magnavox.

not a bad idea, not a bad idea.

at 1st i was thinking just return this today and then get a credit, and then pick up the N router and laptop card for an extra 10 bucks with the same promotion, and the 30 gift card towards the extra cost over the G laptop card.

but from my understanding its almost not even worth going to N right now its mere bullshit advertising crap. almost the same head room operating over the same frequency.

not to mention only 5 per store will be sold like that!

thanks for the tip though

Looks good. I would get it now, and have the price adjusted the day and during the hours they are selling it at that price. I worked for Circuit City for 7 years, horseshit company, but they will give you the price on an adjustment. Panasonic is a great product.

Thanks for the link, I'm looking for an LCD for my kitchen. This Westinghouse one from Best Buy looks like a good deal:

http://bfads.net/pop/3057

Anyone know if the deals at Best Buy/Circuit City will be available online for instore pickup or just instore? I'm lazy and don't want to fight the crowds.

Like I suggested for Odysseys, call Best Buy and see if you buy it now, if they will adjust the price on Friday. I don't want to say they will for sure on everything because I don't want to get anybody screwed over. It's worth the phone call if you don't have to fight the crowds.

+1 on getting their name. I called two best buy stores and a cc store as well as talked to a few people at coporate bb. At first all the people on the phone said sure I can bring it back and get the price. When I actually showed up I was told customer service will be closed that morning, so no returns and no price matching of BF prices.

I also couldn't get anyone at BB corporate to put it in writing when I called back again. So I just bought a different tv online. Good luck and I hope you guys are able to buy early and get the deals though.

That's sick...

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

I assure you that they will price match. I spoke with a guy named Alex who said "it's good you checked with us because many of the store employees won't know...simply print your order confirmation, bring it into the store, and they should be able to adjust it so long as the sale is going on at the moment. If you have a problem, please call us back here at corporate and here is your case number that I have ready to go to our credit department should there be any problems with getting the price difference...."

So no receipt is needed, simply my order number, ID, and CC at most is what he said, though really they should just need the order number. Customer service and everything else will be operational that day. I 100% checked into it before getting my tv.

yep, other then that i cant find anything else to buy.

the only thing i might want is a wide screen lcd monitor, but i already have 2 samsung 730b's.

x box and Ps3 war needs to end, blue ray and HD dvd needs to figure out what format will win. a new t.v. once again to many hd formats and rates to purchase one right now.

we are at a moment in technology quantum leap, and i wont buy shit till the dust settles.

i am in no rush to go out and by something that in 4 months will be absolute or a better version of what ever it is. ill wait
