Chicago Premium Outlets

So Chicago Premium Outlets, in Aurora is having a midnight shopping thing tonight and I decided to hit it up after the bar with my family. I pass over I-88 and see traffic backed up about 2 miles, the ENTIRE parking lot is full and there are about 400 cars stopped on Farnsworth rd just trying to get into the outlets. The craziest thing I have ever seen, are you people nuts?! Why not just shop a few weeks earlier to avoid this hassle? Needless to say I came home and thanked God I no longer work in retail.

Garage
I have been there on a regular weekend and parking is still a nightmare.

I wonder if anyone totalled up the gas they wasted while queued up and driving around for a spot, then compared that to the $20 they saved on a stupid video game or pair of pants.

I think that some people just like the madness of shopping.

I must say that I agree with most of your statement but there are some really nice deals out there; i.e. Toshiba 56" DPL ProJo @ $600 off MSRP.

Gear saved my life - there is no luck involved in wearing gear.

Brooks Brothers was having an additional 20% off, if you were looking to pick up a few suits that'd save you a pretty good chunk of change. Point taken though.

My cousin was supposedly going... she said the Sony store was going to sell a DVD camcorder for $299 from 12am-2am or something.

Great deals all over I guess - but eff that.

I think I'd rather stab myself in the eye than deal with all the people.

The intelligent ones stay home, so it's just a large percentage of deal-crazy goofballs where someone will stomp on your head to get in front of you.

I'd rather not be watching a 56" TV in a full-body cast
