Happy feet
I keep seeing the comercials for this movie and something is bothering me about the scenario portrayed.
How in the heck would penguins, have a south central Los Angeles accent common to people of Spanish decent? A Canadian accent I could understand, but Spanish, they are no where near any Spanish speaking areas?
clearly they made a mistake here, they should have used bob and Doug Mackenzie as well as our very own rick for the Voice over work eh LOL

Dude there are penguins in Argentina. I guess they just brought some of those in. Doesn't explain the LA style accent but there are Spanish Penguins

What is that movie about? I saw the poster @ the theater when I was there recently to see the new Bond movie (
) and the poster makes the movie look like its aimed @ the 2-3yo age group.

That movie sucks. I saw it and wanted to leave about 10 minutes in. It seemed like there were 3 different plot lines in it. The story was all over the map. It seemed like different people wrote different scripts and they just put them together.

Canadian accent, Tony?
That's the other side of the globe.
What accents would a penguin have if it could talk? Argentinean, Chilean, and maybe Australian and New Zealandan accents.... but that's only a theory.

They migrate screwball, they're birds.

They spend most of the year in warmer climates, then head to Antarctica for the summer, I think.
The Gallapagos Islands have penguins also.

Bahhh you bastards! I don't have a globe on my desk, nor do i have a wing back chair and a pipe. As far as I'm concerned all of south America is like Mexico

The tundra is in Alaska, Canada, and Siberia. I've got some awesome shots of the tundra and the muskeg swamps in the mountain valleys of Alaska from the air. I'll try to post them this evening.
Down south Argentina and Chile are the closest countries to Antarctica. If I ever end up climbing down there I'll leave from Puentas Arenas, Chile. It's only a couple of hours by air from Palmer or Rothera. The penguins live in the interior of the Antarctica, which by the way is the largest desert on the planet (but it's not tundra).
