Sweet Merciful Crap....

They made a sequel to Road House, and I just watched it.

dont watch it tony, no matter how much you want to. It just sours all our fond memories of Dalton, even though he's not in it.

vcook, stop watching crap and find the flick I tried to recommend to you during the happy hour .

It is called Thursday, here's the link to Wikipedia article - SPOILER warning. Here's the excerpt which, by the way, explains why nobody has seen it:

Quote:
Thursday is a 1998 American movie written and directed by Skip Woods. In reviews, the movie has been said to resemble Quentin Tarantino works, particularly Pulp Fiction, but the similarities are very superficial.

The film came out on DVD in 2002, by Polygram/USA films. A week after it came out, Polygram/USA Films went bankrupt, and no more than 1000 copies of the DVD were made. This wasn't the only film that got hurt by Polygram's bankruptcy. The Last Days of Disco, Topsy Turvy and No Looking Back are also Polygram/USA DVDs that are rare and hard to find because of this. The only film that was shielded from the Polygram bankruptcy was The Big Lebowski, because the Coen Brothers own the American distribution rights to all their films.

Due to this movie no longer being produced, the DVD can routinely be found selling for several hundred US dollars in new or like new condition. The film is notable for its unconventional rape scene (female raping a man).
It is hard to find, so obtaining a copy is an entertainment on its own. I had to order mine from Germany.

You're lucky. Unfortunately, it looks like somebody on the production line forgot to wire my flux capacitor. Quite unfortunately, I do remember everything. The images of gay drunken dancing are still burning in my brain.

Wasen't so gay when you were tucking a $20.00 in my exposed thong as my low rider hip hugger bell bottom jeans had you in a trance - HATER!

You're right, it wasn't so gay. Pure act of mercy, that's what it was. You were looking so lonely, sad and gay in that thong that I couldn't simply pass by without sparing a yuppie food coupon. Jeez, my man, I almost shed a tear - hence the trance.

PS I've read two books last night, the Fight Club by Palahniuk and the Velocity by Koontz. The first one was worth it, the second wasn't, but I couldn't put it down all the same. The corollary is that I didn't have a single minute of sleep last night and at the present moment I'm a bit groggy and simply outclassed in the joke department by you fokkers. So please be gentle.

That one bouncer is a dead ringer for Ken.
