Well, I can call some of my old Oracle peeps to see but they will just know Sales Schmucks like me - What role are you looking for?

It would definitly be something on the technical side but I'm not sure what exactly I would be qualified to do for them. That is why I'm looking for someone that I can maybe talk to that would be able to tell me what a good area would be. A while back I gave my resume to some here that forwarded it to someone at Sungard but never heard anything. I really need to find my specialty in IT and grow my career. I've mainly done desktop support but I want to get out of that and work with servers. Backup, D&R and SAN technology interest me too.

we have sungard here at our office, and I can't stand there sales department. The people at the actual facility are very nice, very intelligent, I liked dealing with them. There sales department on the other hand, I would love to show them to a tall cliff...

i have a freind that works there and had a friend that was working there until he passed away....you now have to go to thier website and send your resume via that...its the only way you can even get an interview anymore becuse sungard got bought out by another company...i have been trying to get in th door with them...but unless you have your bach degree and some certifications like a ccna or something like that...u can pretty much consider your resume not to be looked at...

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!
