Anyone, Bueller?

Anyone know of a GOOD hand CAR wash in the north side?? Preferrably one where you can give your own towels to use for drying the vehicle??

run it through one of them auto washers on Dempster. Motherfuckin laserwash 4000. That's what I use. The dryer even blew the rear cover off of my roof rack.

Those DIY places? Too cold, doors would freeze up right after. My black car looks like i drove it through a shack in Medellin. Hunny, you live out near Vernon Hills, right? There's a place out there where they wash cars, and if it gets dirty within the next 5 days, you can bring it back and wash it again. They give you a ticket to use when you come back. Know where that is? not sure if it's a hand wash though..

On Chestnut St just west of Waukegan Rd in Glenview. I can't think of the name. $13 bucks for the best car wash ever. Sorry but they use their own towels. I used to always go there

Platnium Car Wash on Waukegan inbetween Golf and Dempster, or Glenview Car Wash on Chestnut off of Waukeegan. not sure if they are open on these subzero days though. and i don't think that you can bring your own towel, but they towel dry it after the wash.

Been to Platinum (good place BTW) but it's a machine, and my car (lowered) can't go over the rails. I'll try that place in Glenview. there's a place right across from Platinum which does hand washes, but the guy gave me a dirty ass look when i gave him my own towels to use. Never going back there again.

Any of these places convertible friendly? I need to wash the car bad and I usually don't like machines as they rip at the top a lot. I'm downtown.

All hand washes Bro - I'll rank them in my fav order and why

1. Near North Car Wash on Superior just W of Des Plaines - AWSOME job for $25.00 - Only downside is there is almost always a line

2. We'll Clean on Clybourn N of Webster - These guys take their time and it is worth the drive - $25.00 - Only downside is it is a bit n for me with 3 others close by

3. Gold Coast Car Wash on Des Plaines just N of Chicago Ave - Good Job and in and out pretty quick but a line can form in seconds there - $22.00

4. We Wash 3 on Halsted just S of Grand - $20 somethin I think and it is okay - There is a reason it is #4

All are good and all are hand wash and hand dry and all include Interior/Exterior with AA on the tires

Joo are the fookin man, man! Last and final question, do they use air hoses to blow the water from the cracks (especially side mirrors) since i'd hate to blow that kinda $ on a wash, just to have it splatter out when leaving? Thanks again mang.

I hate the "swirl Marks" and "Brush Marks" that come from those auto wash places - Swirls are tuff on any dark car even if it never touches brushes but the hand wash is about the best for avoiding it
