any deals going on now for T.V. and internet service out there?

think its time for me to switch,i am not happy with the way comcast has been taking care of me as a customer and after i got off the phone, they didnt offer nothing like at least another promotional back to back to keep me as a customer, from all the crap ive been dealing with them on.

so any deals going on?

AT&T has the whole pkg thing happening right now too

i'd say ameritech aka AT&T (all around the worlddddd)... been with ameritech for a long time. The only down side is it's statalite tv, but isn't too bad. But i rarely watch TV anyways, they have packages and promotions going on right now....

Every year so far i've been allowed to switch to the new promotion w/ out a contract.... the only thing that would cost money would be the boxes for statalite... other then that i'm paying 70+ tax. w/ phone service, internet and tv.

good deal ken ....AT & T has teamed up with Dish network. Ive had Comcast, Dish network and now Directv. Dish was by far the best with pricing and equipment. I will go back asap.

Side note ..you can also team up your cingular cell service with that too?

well just got done canceling comcast, and signing up with ATT

like i noted above, big time savings!

to bad i rather have given he business to comcast since there is a few friends i have that work there. but it was just to much of a hassle with billing errors, and lack of getting my mailing address correct for me to even receive my bills.

so now for 70 probably with tax's i get 2 rooms of direct tv with DVR's, unlimited calling local or long distance, and DSL!

64 bucks a month for the 1st year, 88 for the second year, i dont need to worry about the price game for 2 years now.

Your not getting direct tv, your getting Dish network. You keep refering to it as directv so I'm just making sure you know what your getting.

What kind of Hi def package are you getting with that deal or is that extra?

yeah i always get confused, its DISH network.

ive had them before and same as direct tv if you ask me except DIRECT had a better HD line up and signal quality.

i didnt opt for any HD service.

i watch so many movies"rentals" that any movie challens are dumb for me to get since i rent movies like mad.

UNTIL sopranos comes back on, then ill order it.

How much extra is it, as thats all I really use anymore. Standard def is soooo 1990's and are they HD-dvr's?

well so far i as as happy as heck.

the only down side i had to pay 13 bucks more a month for all the channels i was use to watching so i went from the america top 100 with locals and outdoorchannel, to the top 200 with my outdoor channel. i couldnt live without my SPEED.

so for everything still, 78.00 bucks a month for the 1st year, and 113.00 for a month in the second year.

over all, the regular digital vision is much better then comcast. 100 hour DVR, on demand t.v.. i am loving it.

DSL versus Broadband? i will miss the 1-2 seconds faster on everything. normal browsing, i can not tell a difference. downloading LARGE files i feel it.

having a home phone again with unlimited local and long. a BONUS!!!!

saving some money make odysseys beer fund grow!

dish network has a lot of the old Voom channels that you were blubbering in your beer about when they went out of business...so if you do get the HD pkg, you'll see a lot of those old channels
