And I Thought We Were Crazy...

The GF and I have been trying to go rockclimbing at the gym lately in order to ... (fill in whatever standard response that makes YOU chuckle).

Anyways,

I came across this video of a climber named Dean Potter:

and my freaking heart nearly stopped, this guy is AMAZING...I looked further and to see what he has actually done is jaw-dropping.

I saw a show a while back. It was some girl that was literally running up rock climing walls. Her parents were missionaries in some jungle community. She would run around climbing trees and chasing monkeys. She came back to the states and litteraly runs a rock will in about 10 seconds. She has really toned legs, and the muscles in her fingers were so big, she had six packs on her hands. It was absolutely amazing.

That was awesome to watch. I just started climbing. It's a blast, but I will never be that good.

Sorry but all I could think of was Will Farrell saying, "Look at me honey, take a picture, I'm rock climbing, ahhhhhhhhhh, I'm dead - What an iiiiiidiot" - Thats all. - The Meatloaf was just a bonus
