Life's Journey Is Not To Arrive At The Grave Safely In A Well Preserved Body, But Rather To Skid In Sideways, Totally Worn Out, Shouting "HOLY SHIT... What A Ride!"

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.

Look like your hoarding snow, compared to your neighbors.

Judge by the van, snow in the hood like about 12" deep. How did you get so lucky?

Snowdrifts.

The kids are outta school out here, and they're going door-to-door asking people if they'd like them to shovel (for some extra $$ of course). Well, they took one look at my driveway, and needless to say, they never asked me (and I know it's not the intimidating pooch).

Are you kidding me?

What is this "plowing" and "snowblowing" you speak of?

I got Grasshopper's grandpa's pre-WWII-issue shovel that was complimentary issue following FDR's New Deal legislation.

Rachel, I feel your pain. I swear, I will run fast and hard from any man I meet who owns a house but not a snowblower (John's driveway was 80 fucking feet long (not including the concrete pad in front of the house) and we did it by hand, year after year. Never again!

If only you were my neighbor. I did my usual good winter deed. Snowblowed my lawn and just about half of the block on my side of the street twice, yesterday night and this morning before work. There are a lot of older people in my neighborhood, I would hate for them to have to shovel all of that snow. So I cut out all of their driveways and sidewalks so they could get out of the house without any problems.

Damn Ron. Good on ya for helping the old folks

Living in a townhouse certainly has its perks. I wake up every morning to a nicely plowed driveway

Well its about time you guys got some snow we (Denver area) had 33" back in December and since then we have had a snow fall every week now going on in our 8 straight week. This area SUCKS the damn tree huggers think that salt is degrading the environment so they use gravel and magnesium chloride (liquid salt), the plow trucks rarely ever actually plow and we have pack snow from that first snow storm in the parking lot of my apartment complex. I would love to be back home in IL with your snow anyday.

Well have fun in it while you can.

But don't you like the skiing?? I'd love to be in Colorado over winter, get some serious skiing done, especially since it's only an hour from Denver.

Thinking about it, Colorado wouldn't be bad in the Summer too... good motorcycling around there Hoping to do CO and UT this season.
