Salmonella Poisoning in Peanut Butter

I can't find a link for it online but my mom said she just saw something on the news about a peanut butter recall because certain brands may contain salmonella poisoning. Scary stuff

My girlfriend's sister has been in the hospital for two days with no known cause. After this report came out they were able to finally pinpoint the cause.

I have had salmonella poisoning, and it is no big deal. I did not even get sick. It mostly affects the very young and very old.

This is them keeping out in front though, because there were no positive tests as yet on the peanut butter at the plant. Only that 85% of the affected said they ate peanut butter.

While it might only make you shit wrong for a few days, there are a lot of people not in the "very young/very old" category that can be killed by this. Salmonella (or any other bacterial infection) can prove fatal to anyone with a compromised immune system, like myself. It's pretty scary.

What's up with your immune system? You know you could have told me about this before we had that special night back in September.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

I don't have a spleen. For more information on my lack of organ, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spleen

Also, lack of spleen leads one to make poor social choices, like being conned into thinking a night with wse can be "special."
