Daytona 500 Race

I know we have a million Nascar fans here Either way, the ending of yesterday's race was amazing. 21 Lead changes the entire race, guys coming up from 30+ positons to the top 5. The difference between first and second place of the 500 mile race was less than 2 feet, decided from an old fashioned drag race down the front straight. A huge wreck insued behind the leaders. The 18th place driver Clint Bowyer got hit, flipped over, hit again and slid for about 200 ft across the finish line with his car on fire. It was insane. It really looked like something right out of Days of Thunder. I know there aren't many Nascar fans here, but I think you all might want to check out a race or two.

I just happened to flip the channel to it with 2 laps left. I never watch nascar, but for some reason decided to finish off watching the race. That ending was crazy!

That car which is upside-down: it looks like the #20 is painted on the door so it can be read with the car flipped.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

As much as I am not a nascar fan I did have it on in the background yesterday while I was reading a book. the race was pretty good.

I did the same thing. I turned it on durring the caution with 3 laps left, decided to watch the rest. Last lap/finish was pretty fucking intense.

lol

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

the race was kick ass...i was watching it on and off throguh the day and the last 30 laps i kept it on...it was like 7 lead changes...people in the front, getting knocked to the back and then making moves and pulling back into the top 10 again...

by far the best nascar race i have seen in quite a few years...if the racing was like that in every race (well except upside down) i would become a fan all over again...but i got tired of all the shitty rule changes and all sorts of bullshit going on which turned me off of it over 10 years ago...

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

Yellow Flag!

I haven't seen the race yet. Going to my boys who Tivo'd it. I'm avoiding all news of it. Had to quickly come to the last page. Oh the temptation of it all!
