talk it out like anything in a marriage its communication and trust.
but he and you both must understand there is certain things in life that we must let our partner do, and if riding is 1 of them i must understand my wifes passion and her love for it and let her be HER.
Haha, BAD IDEA!!! Are you kidding? Let him sleep with his wife AND another girl, right before she buys a vehicle that will give the husband lots of alone time?!? Hmm...he might go for some side action.
I do, however, have a solution: Marriage is a compromise. Tell your husband that every time you take your bike out, the length of time you're gone will tell him what he's getting when you get back.
1 Hour-HJ
2 Hour-Missionary
3 Hour-Sex with BJ finish
4 Hour-Anal
5 Hour and above...You gotta toss his salad while being on top while finishing with A2M, cause you left him for the whole friggin day!!!-
He'll tell you to be home in 3-4 hours every time!
Mig hides the R1 at his parent's house. So I am sure he has ways to cover up the smell. You have to be one step ahead of the warden. My Dad hid a 17 foot fishing boat from my Mom for years. :laughing
Or you can be like my cousin, ride up to his Mom's b-day party. I have never seen a brown woman turn bright red so quickly.:laughing
First off, THanx RObby for calling me out into this thread.
WSE, I wear regular T-shirts that I have pairs for (extras @ parents)
Second, I can pull this off cause I'm not married (although the bike is not worth my relationship with her), thus my situation is different. Now that she has a fat rock on her finger, KING KONG aint got SHIT on ME!!
Defib, don't hide it. Tell him, what's the worse that can happen? If he starts bitching at you, tell him to go pop some midol and change his tampon. :laughing
I'm guessing he probably won't leave you over a bike, and if he does, you'll have a great story to tell about why your ex husband left you, and he isn't worth it. He'll get mad, yeah well, he'll also get over it. It might have been mentioned already, but why do you want to hide it from him?
A guy who doesn't ride or doesn't like me riding is an instant deal break for me.
That's the same for me...except with girls...The girl I'm seeing right now is the one that got me into bikes, when her and her father (who's over 50 and rides an 01 ZX9R) brought me to the races at Road America. She knows more about racing than I do, and can keep up in most areas. The only problem is she gives me shit every time I want to ride, because she wants to spend time with me, but won't get on the bike with me because she will never think I have enough experience on it (understandable for now since I've only ridden 2 years). First thing that happens with riding season starts, on the first day I want to take my bike out, she gives me shit, saying "Great, now I'll never see you because you'll always be on your bike." Which sucks, because I don't take it out as much because I know she wants to see me, and then she gives me shit on the first day?!? That was about enough this year to call it off, except her dad bought her an older bike to learn on, and she's probably going to buy my bike later this season and start riding with us...If not, she'd be gone:cheers:
So I want to buy a bike & hide it from my husband in a storage space.
Will someone PLEASE tell me this is a bad idea?
I think I'm losing my mind!!!!!!!!!!!! MUST RIDE!!!!!
Anyone ever hide a bike from their SO?
This could be me next week, looks nice, doesn't it?
:cbrsmiley:
I gotta say I'm one of the biggest offenders in this situation. Informing my SO about "I'm thinking of getting another bike" is definately something I have to think about carefully and choose my words.- Going thru this process is what I fret the most, keeping my bike count down. In the past it's cost me DOUBLE the price of the bike!!! (Let's not get into this, shall we?)
Before I ordered my bike a few months ago, I had to secure a storage spot in my Friends' garage until I worked out the details with MAMA.
In the end, after being nice, soft, caring and cuddly, did the "Nasty" a few more times a week than normal:jester , it made her giddy and she finally realized something was UP?:lmao: She finally came to the conclusion that there is no longer a Motorcycle parked in the garage?
I shyly studdered (sp?) the question asking her if I could buy another bike? She laughed and said go ahead!
(Litttle did she know it was ordered a month before!:lmao: ) BUT I asked right?)
Didn't end up using my Friend's garage, glad I told her:lmao: before I picked it up and brought it home, anyways.
:jester - sounds like the roles are reversed for deefib - just remember you have the power - the power of the patch. Do what you want and tell him to deal with it.
