Just a couple of things to look at when looking at the ingredients of your dog food....
Any by-product I stay away from, because it's basically unclean parts from the carcasses such as heads, feet, etc. It's nutrional value is always questionable, and by products are harder for the dog to digest.
Corn - This stuff is pretty much just used as a filler. Corn in dog food is usually just used as a filler, it isn't actual corn, and it doesn't hold any nutritional value. The corn that is usually in these types of dog food is not like corn on the cob like we eat or anything.
Animal fat - another by-product of meat processing. You never know what animal it's coming from, and the oil is very low in linolec <sp?> acid which is basically an important fatty acid for the animals skin and coat.
Animal Digest - More by-product. They pretty much cook this down to a broth made from unknown parts of unknown animals from unknown sources, so there is no control over the quality.
