Been to 4 grand prixs, 2 up in Montreal. The sound is one of those things that you just can't get from TV.
It's too bad F1 has gone downhill the way it has. I was an F1 fan for about 15 years but I don't even check the results anymore. If you like to watch pretty cars go around in a parade than F1 is for you. Personally I like racing, which is why I prefer motorcycles.

If you have not watched F1 recently then you not only missed watching the best F1 driver in the history of the sport, Schumi, but you also missed some fantastic races. F1 is not about bang it up, but more about how much performance can you technilogically pull out of your vehicle without sacrificing endurance. Now that Schumi retired and Kimi Raikkonen has taken his spot (and won the first race of the season last weekend) a whole new era of F1 is beginning. Without the 7 time world champion, Schumi, on the track it is open for a few drivers to take over where he left off. Title this year is really up for grabs between Ferrari, Renault, Williams Toyota, BSM Sauber and maybe even Toyota and Honda (formerly BAR) if they can get their stuff together. I totally recommend anyone interest in premier auto racing to re-check out F1. My tickets for Indy in June are already purchased (turn 6) & 110% recommend anyone remotely interested in the sport to go see it live.
