Does anyone have any sort of set up / hook up to convert VHS tapes in PAL format into NTSC DVD? I have an urgent need to convert two VHS tapes in PAL into NTSC DVDs, preferably preserving the quality. Problem is - I need to get it done no later than Sat (March 31) afternoon. I'm willing to provide beer/wine or even monetary compensation in cold hard cash .
Any advice on specialized shops/locations is appreciated as well. Thanks!
Ahh, the only thing I can suggest off the top of my head is to check in the ethnic shops of Chicago. I know my mom has bought PAL stuff in the Devon area down there. There's gotta be someone who can answer your question down there.
Thanks, but PAL VHS player is the biggest part of the problem. I already have the backup plan: I can buy a video card with AV input and a "world" VHS player (that will play PAL). The reason I haven't done it yet is that I won't be needing it after this 1 time conversion.
