So I can't decide between the A* Stage and Icon Strongarm 7. The benefit of the strongarm is I can also afford a back protector. downside - possibly too much bling. The A* jacket is nice, but for $380 it seems like a little too much money. What do you guys think? Also, I can't find a place around here (northside) to try on the Stage. I have tried on the TZ-1 and i like it, but i also like how the Icon fits.
Kneedraggers is $322 for the Stage. You have to have the prices emailed to you though. I just picked up a Size 56 and it is a nice coat, the shoulder guards float around more then i like but I am sure that could be fixed with some velcro.
leather over denim any day of the week....not even a question. plus the denim jacket looks like you need to buy a melton cap with it. wait i just saw your screen name, nevermind.
The icon is hideous. I think you can do a lot better for the amount of money you're talking about. A friend of mine just got a brand new Shift full leather jacket with CE armor for $150 shipped. Deals are out there if you look hard enough. Check Newenough.com religiously and Dennis Kirk closeouts for some real bargains.
well if i got the icon, i would get the armored vest. that was my main attraction to it. plus, i have this unhealthy obsession with green (hence the green bike). and thats thats the least tacky jacket i have seen that's green.
but i guess i'm going with the A* then where is chicago performance? and philly, if yours is black and 44/54 than you got yourself a customer.
I am also 6'2" and 190lbs and the Stage 46/56 fits well in the arms but is a bit loose in the torso. Bit long in the torso also but I am disproportioned.
yeah, i'm just a little guy. 5'9"-5'10" 160 lbs. problem is i have broad shoulders, so the A* jackets are a little tight. Icon jackets fit me very well since they are a little looser.
Really?? Cheyenne, did they still have a large selection to go or what?? I need to get out that way soon, been working and putting off buying my new jacket.
