There's the saying:

If he's like that out in public, then imagine how bad it is behind closed doors.

His body posturing and charging her early on is more than enough body language. You do not invade another's body space like that, especially your daughter's, even if you think 'she started it'.

Yeah I don't know about this beating stuff, it looked like she was beating him.

The guy does have a femullet though, so I'm sure he is guilty of any charges that can be invented.

Now ask yourself: Why would she have done those actions and why as a coach and Dad did he not just pull himself completely away from the situation if you think it's all her fault?

Oh I'm not saying it's okay in the least, it was pretty damn creepy just watching it.

I figured I would open the vid and see a serious beating...that just looked more like an extremely embarrassing moment for the daughter. Maybe he hit her before the cameras started rolling, I don't know.

Is it just me, or does there seem to be a trend with similar situations when the parents are the coaches for the children, on a high competition level?

It's not just with coaches. Too many parents are trying to re-live their youth through their children and allow themselves to do this by convincing themselves that the kid wants it. Most kids just let it flow at them because they've already been conditioned by said parents that if they quit they suck and won't be loved.

I doubt it's a trend, just more camera phones.

My name is JB, people call me JB
