yes.... batman and the dude with the beard are twin brothers. One brother was married to that one chick and the other brother was in love with scarlet chick. That's why homeboy didn't love his wife on certain days. Those certain days was when it was his brother acting his part. So... wolverine had batman hanged(the twin that loved scarlet) while batman's twin brother(the married one) was free. The free brother shot wolverine.

No...he had a twin but kept it a secret. They lived completely separate lives. One loved the actual wife, and one loved Scarlett Johansen.

That's why when the wife would say "you mean it today" when he would say that he loved her, or "you don't mean it today" when it was the brother that actually loved Scarlett Johansen.

They would take turns living as the magician and the guy with the beard.

Does that make sense?

+1 If you pay attention to the audience at about 15 minutes into the movie, you can see Christian Bale with his twin (beard) watching Wolverine perform.

The question I was left asking was "how did he know he wasn't killing himself everynight...and that it wasn't the clone that went on to do the performance (and killing/getting killed) the next night?"

he said that in the end.. he didn't know if he was gonna be the man on stage, or the guy in the box..

it was a good flick.. i didn't like the whole thing about cloning, the movie could have been completely true up untill that point.

good movie none the less.
