2005 ZX12R How much?

Tell me how much is 2005 ZX12R with 1700+ miles, completely stock and mint realy worth.
Friend of mine is looking in getting one, however, CCC is asking $9500 for the bike + $58 for Doc fee + $89 License and some other crap + $117 inspection fee? + $500 for shipping???+ some other shit$$$ = $10500 before taxes. I told them Thank you but NO way! You can pick up 2007 ZX14 for that.
What I would like to know is what is a fair price for that bike. Keep in mind that it is realy a very clean bike, 1700 miles, stock, and that dealer has to make money, after all it is their bussiness.

9500 holy hell, nobody wants those things. Used 14s with almost no miles sell for less than 9500.

I would pay 8000 at absolute max...but I would rather spend just a little more and get the 14 anyway.

ZX-14 is kind of ugly, I like the look of ZX-12 better. 8000-8500 grand is what I was thinking also.

CCC had used zx6r's older than my 2006 (I bought brand new, there!) than what i paid for mine new. If they won't play ball move on. Some things are negotiable, just hardly at CCC. I assume your friend has mucho experienco if they are planning on a bike of such nut wrenching power.

I have a mint 2001 12R with upgrades that I'll sell for $6000. It'll stomp most bikes around.

Only 3500 miles on it. $3000 in upgrades on it. See pic in avatar.

Buy Brians!!

I can vouch that it is in EXCELLENT condition.

And if it is anything like his other bikes it will kick ass.

Dan - Listen to this man - He is BRILLIANT! (said in best Gueiness Guy Voice)

The bike is not for me, my friend is 6'5'' and can't fit on anything smaller then ZX12, he looks ridiculous on a R6 or similar.
Eddie, the Busa is still the MOST UNPLEASANT motorcycle ever made! You should know, friends don't let friend buy a Busa!

Brian,
I will let my friend know. Your bike seems to be what he is looking for.

6'5" looks ridiculous on anything other than a 12R? Uh oh.

There's a EC black '05 zx-12 downstate here for $7800 and the dealer doesn't charge all that BS. 217-258-2000 Mattoon Kawasaki. It'd be a fun ride back on I57.
