We call that a tachyon excuse... I know I'll be hurting in the future, so it's excusable now prior to that.

40 minutes. Usually takes 25 minutes. And an extra 5 was because I pulled into the parking lot, went to light my smoke and realized I forgot my lighter in my other coat. Had to run to White Hen to get another one.

I left my house at about 5:15am and got to work a little after 7am... Normally if I leave my house at that time, I can be at work in 45 minutes... tops! I can't imagine how bad it was during rush hour though!

Shelly- I'll grab a drink with ya at lunch today! I could use one too!

Less than 15 minutes. From Skokie, to umm, Skokie. Stupid snow isn't even slippery, no drifting through side streets.

Yeah, my GSX is at AMS right now getting a shift fork replaced. I still have AWD driving the wife's QX4 whilst she's on spring break in Ft. Wayne this week.

I would have just called in too, but I if my car is ready soon I'd rather pick it up from AMS in Arlington Heights from work in Itasca than home in Channahon.

Joliet to Hoffman is probably worse than my Channahon to Itasca. Both suck though.

11 miles. 20 minutes. Did I mention I love this place?

Although I DID have break out the air compressor cuz the winter car's tires were low (she's been parked for a month now!) and move a bunch of crap out of the way so I could actually get it out of the garage.
