Filing an extension is not necessarily a bad thing.

For one, it can reduce your risks for an audit. I also don't mind paying uncle sam 7% on monies owed while it gains 10 or 12% where it's parked. I think the interest paid on past due taxes is deductable as well...

Mine have been done for a month or so, except Turbo Tax wants $30 to e-file them and my lazy ass just hasn't copied it from the site onto the paper form and mailed it. It just has to be postmarked by the 15th right?
