Leaving Chitown for Deals Gap and Cherohala on Monday

So, wish me luck and pray to weather Gods, maybe if available, sacrifice a virgin or at least a goat...

Tomorrow, 6:00 am me and Alex Kogan (Cougar8000) are heading out for a 4 day trip through IN, KY, TN and to NC. Bikes are prepped, loaded and I can't wait. I mounted a camcorder and taking a camera, so hopefully, ride report is to follow..

Terrible time of year to go, but if you stay warm, you should get in some nice scenery at least

Good luck!! Be safe and stay warm!

Is this your first time to the GAP or you been there before? I went last May and friggin LOVED it!! Can't wait to go back! If you want some more kick ass twisties and beautiful scenery, go through WV on the way back. Rt. 33 through WV is awsome! But lots of other kick ass roads too.... so many roads, so little time to try them all out

Good luck.. and take lots of pics!

Please be careful at Deals Gap. More for the other people than yourself.
