cheap cleaners in around westchester, oak brook, elmhurst area

okay. I am getting screwed by my local cleaners. Last time I dropped stuff off, i found out they were charging like $3.25 for a cotton shirt, clean and press. There is a place in glen ellyn thats $1 or a $1.25, so I tried them out and the quality is actually very nice, and unlike my shitty cleaners that writes my name on the shirt tail in marker (which I am always afraid will bleed) this place uses paper takes that are wrapped into a button whole. THe only problem is the place is like 25 minutes from my house.

any suggestions?

Cleaners Depot One price cleaners, they're a chain with several locations. The one in glen ellyn sees me OFTEN.

The Chinese people that own the cleaners in Fox Lake are the greatest! The actually wave out the front window as I drive away!! I always laugh as I get out of the lot.

Too far for you - I keep them to myself

yes, find the one closest to you and never look back. tags on clothes instead of pen on shirt tails, great pricing, fast service. You can't beat it.

be a cheap bastard and try out Dryel

I'm so glad I haven't had to "dress up" for work for the last 20 years. It's nice to be a software engineering slob

Damn cleaners.... I used to use them often for my uniforms. Finally got sick of it, got a nice washer that has dry-cleaning like cycle, and bought myself some starch and a good iron. Saving a shitloads each week.
