So I have this on-going problem...

Aight... so you guys/gals might remember the post I made about how I was trading my water/alky injection kit and traction bars for an Alpinestars Jacket/Gloves/Shoes. Well, the kid was supposed to order me all my gear, send it to me, and then I send him my car parts. Well, he told me he worked at this shop in Nashville, Tennessee called Castle Powersports. He said that he ordered everything from Parts Unlimited 3 weeks ago on a Friday. He also gave me his personal home address. The next Thursday he said that everything came in except my shoes...well the next day (so now a Friday 2 weeks ago) all my stuff is in supposedly. So, I asked him "when are you shipping everything from the store to me?" and he responded with "Monday first thing" . I said ok cool. Well, Monday comes around and they weren't shipped out. He comes online Monday and said "DUDE my car got repo'd!!! I haven't made a car payment since February!!! " . So, I said "ok im sorry to hear that but did you send out my stuff...he said "nah man, tomorrow for sure" ... so I said "ok...1 day delay no biggie"... so I come online Wednesday and to no avail. he wasn't online... actually since last Wednesday him or his friends (from other states like CA, KY, and TX) haven't seen him online in now a week...

So...after all this I thought to myself "am I going to get my gear or what...lol" ...so I physically called Castle Powersports yesterday and asked the lady nicely "hi...yes is mark bryant working today?" and she comes back and says "did you mean Mark Ferris?" and I said "no...this kid online told me he works here...this is Castle Powersports in Nashville, TN correct mam?" She answerd with a "yes sir it is." So I came back and said "ok well this kid online told me he works here and ordered a bunch of stuff for me." She said "ok let me transfer you to parts" ... so she does so...wait for 2-3 minutes and Jeff picks up... "I said hey jeff theres nobody according to your receptionist that works there by the name of Mark Bryant, correct?" . He goes "no sir sorry about that..." so I go at a last ditch effort to try and somehow se eif this guy knew some dirt about this guy I said " hmmm... ok, so you dont have an african-american male, drives a black Dodge Neon SRT-4, has a 2004 R1 and a 2006 GSX-R 750?" He comes back with "yea...definately not at this location...are you sure you got the right store? " So, I explained the whole thing to him and he goes "let me ask everyone else here real quick..." 3 minutes later he comes back with "nope, sorry bro...nothin" ... so I said "alright well thank you and your receptionist for your help and have a good day."

So, with all that being said... I dunno what to do... I sent the kid a PM on SRTForums.com saying "hey man you have until Friday to deliver otherwise my parts are going back up for sale and you'll be S-O-L dude..."

So, I guess my best and safest bet is just to wait till Friday and then post up the car parts for sale huh?

umm, I would just sell the stuff you're holding for the kid, and buy my own gear.

I dont know about this guy, but I am trading my old harley exhaust to a guy in nigeria for a 38 foot cigarette boat. I just got an email from him the other night and said the boat was on order.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

thank god you are not out anything other than time... you still have your stuff. just go and sell it to someone else and then buy your gear yourself. i bet you could even make some $$ out of it if you shop around for your gear.
