Prescription Polarized under my lid... be advised you get some cool trippy rainbow effects when you have the shield down on a lid with polarized sunglasses. Your best bet might be a tinted shield

Oakley Half-jackets fit comfortably inside most of my helmets.. I just bought some Hatchets, and they dont fit so good, cuz they are metal and the arms dont bend around inside the helmet

I use contacts and a tinted shield.

If i'm riding without the helmet, then just my rayban cat eyes - which are polarized. On longer helmetless rides I prefer not to use contacts since they dry out easily. Instead I use an older pair of raybans which have prescription tinted lenses.

I thought you wore contacts? If so just get a tinted shield for helmet.

I was riding in front of my dad and his headlight was reflecting off something in front of us and back into my sunglasses/visor...the colors dude, the colors. I saw the reflection of my eye in my visor in the center of his headlight with some sweet pale blue lines around it

I got a tinted shield on my helmet. Just want to get a good riding glasses to cruise around in the city that block out some of the wind. Wearing a helmet, stuck in traffic, and it sunny 80 degree plus weather out, it is not fun, like an oven.

Funny true story, I used to think the same way. One day, back in 2003, I went out for a ride but the sunglasses I wore didn't block the wind for shit and my eyes would tear up. That, combined with the girlfriends constant nagging, made me wear my helmet that day. (but it was mostly the wind in the eyes) That was the day my head was run over by a tanker truck.

I wear Oakley whiskers under my helmet, If it's too hot out I just leave the visor open as the glasses block the wind. Ducky, I think you will find on this website, It's actually unfashionable to go helmet less for the most part. So your most likely going to catch some heat for this thread.
