Props to Schaumburg Honda Suzuki

I've had nothing but awesome experiences with these guys! Most of you know the little problems I've been having with my bike....Well, I bought a 4 yr warranty on my bike, which completely slipped my mind. I've never bought a new bike before, so I've never had a warranty, and I guess that is why I didn't even think of it. Well, after messing with it and having a few other bike savvy people toy with it, I finally just called the dealership and told them I needed to bring it in. I got the extended warranty through Suzuki which has no deductible. They usually charge to pick up bikes, because I told them the bike really wasn't reliable to ride 30 miles IMO, because it was shutting off on me so much last time I rode it. Anyway, they picked my bike up the very same day and didn't charge me a penny. When the guy got to my house I forgot I had the seat off, the battery out, and little stuff. He came in put it all back together, wheeled it outta my garage and up the ramp. (I love being a chick!)

The tech guy said he'll have it back to me this weekend! Which is good because Conesville is less then 2 weeks away. Wooo hooo!!! I am one happy camper!

On top of this, whenever I go in there for little stuff they always give me a discount and treat me nicely. I told the guy I'll definitely be by at the end of the season to maybe buy a new bike, because they gave me such an awesome deal on this one.

The leg humping factor is obviously huge in this case, as we guys all know...your average male squid would not receive this treatment, especially at the absolute busiest time of the season. Lucky you!

I've had mixed feelings about them. When I needed a bike picked up from less than a mile away it took them a few days to pick it up, I had to call them three times to remind them. They threaded the bold holding my clutch on. The bike took a week to get back to me, however when they finally did look at it they gave me three 'status' calls during the fix which was good. The guy who handles pickups is great.

Their service and parts department work extremely independently, which is a pain in the ass when you can't be assed doing the work yourself. The parts guys are great, and theres a hot chick working there

They don't seem to have much stuff in stock, which is a pain in the ass, and they keep acting like I have no money when I walk in which often leads to less than helpful answers. Mind you they knowingly undercharged me the last time I was there, which is always a plus.

Overall, their employees seem to be great people, but half of them suck at their job, the other half are great. No idea about their sales staff though, I'd never buy a new bike, riding the first 600 miles 'slowly'?!?! Fuck that!

All this can be avoided by simply purchasing a Honda. All Hondas need is gas, oil and tires.
