Quick Question about MSRP and selling Price

I am looking at purchasing a scooter(yes I know it isn't a sport bike). I just prefer scooters. Anyway, the MSRP is: $5899.00. The dealer is selling it for $4899.00. Is it possible to still get anything off the price or is that a good price?

The scooter is a Suzuki Burgman.

it's always possible to get them lower. they have margin built in there. See what you can do.

1. Know what you're buying.
2. Know what it's worth.
3. Know what they're making off of the sale.
4. What incentive do they have for selling it to you cheaper? (other than making the sale. They can sell it to the next guy that walks through the door right?)

Oh and it doesnt hurt to know somebody that works at the dealerhsip
