Borrow suit

Ok so I am going to be doing my first track day this year on the 27, Sunday at Autobahn I believe it is... but before I register I wanted to see if I could borrow someone's leather suit and boots... I have everything else.
Someone no further than like a 45 min drive.
If you've never seen me I am about 130-140 lbs, 5'8 or so and wear a size 9 shoe in womens. So .. anybody willing to loan their gear for a day. No promises nothing will happen to them

Bikes can be replaced...people can't...ride safe!!

You could always wash Biggy's and throw it in the dryer to shrink it down 3 sizes

I sent you a PM. You can borrow mine if you can eat a dozen donuts every day for the next 3 weeks and drink lots of beer.

Just so you know, they have leather rental there as well. Go to the website.

Not sure if I'll be out/back in time to get them to chicago for your needs but next time, let me know and I'll pack my boots (they're a men's 7.5, I wear a women's 9 and they fit wonderfully).

If you can afford it....buy leathers now...shop around you should be able to find something...a 2pcs with full zippers for $379. If you really shop around...it can be cheaper...if you don't mind clashing

http://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com/d...T_ID=WP471-230

and good boots for $129.

Like Rick said why don't you have boots anyways. Your ankles will thank you if you crash on the street too you know.

Don't try to fit into someones gear that is too big for you you'll end up hindering your movement side to side and could cost you a lot more in the event of a crash. If your going to go to the track either rent your size or go out and buy some. Better to spend some $$$ and not get hurt in the event of a fall.

IF you can stave off buying leathers until sometime before Christmas time you can find a suit inexpensively. I just picked up a set from Motorcycle Accessory Warehouse for $237.00 in January or February. I'd get the boots now at the place Rick listed. That's a good deal.

Can't afford a suit right now, and don't want to put the $$ into one as this is my first time and don't know if I'll like it... although I am told it's addicting So.... just trying it out for now. If I do like it and know I'll do a few track days then I'll maybe go get one. I ride now in full gear.

its cheaper because they only use the track half as much since they're so slow. KIDDING! Just kidding!

Femmoto is a great program and you should take advantage of it if you're able to do so.
