what are some spots

For fishing around northern illinois.... my dad and I wanted to fish but we don't know many great spots....we caught 3 yesterday medium sized here at gages lake, since it was only 2 minutes away. Anyone recommend any spots?

Try the stip mines aka gravel pits in Crystal Lake. I think you need to have access though?

Whats up Sang-y. There is not too much up here for "good" fishing. The "fishing" where you wake up early as hell, crack open some beer before the sun is up, and hydrate yourself all day...we have here in our area But nothing as far as "good" fishing.
