Playing Hooky Tomorrow.

Before I lose my job and go to jail for killing a student I need to take a mental health day.

We were planning to bringing baby to the zoo if rains probably the Shedd.

Looking for other places that would work for inclement weather.

Looking for something other than downtown museums kid and stroller friendly needed.

If they don't allow school groups even better

TIA

I thought I was the only one ready to kill my students. They have turned into lazy morons who all of a sudden can't add or read. I had one today tell me, "the number line is not working." WTF!! I need to take a day, but sub plans for me take too damn long to write. Plus then I have to deal with all of the work they did not get done with the sub when I get back. So hence, I did not gain anyhing by taking off. Is is June 13th yet??????????

I'm not sure where you live, but the childrens museum in Glenview is really nice! Also, there is supposed to be a good one in Rockford, but I haven't been, so I don't know first hand.

Here try this one 1-800-dial-a-prayer. Its the only chance you got, of passing.

Paladin i know you said away from the city, but Navy Pier is cool for kids. Plus it being Wed, fireworks.

Or there is a new indoor water park by the Clock Tower in Rockford. I don't recall the name though.

You know I used to think that then I found that the best thing for a sub to do is give them a test. I am also departmentalized so it is a bit easier. In May anything that I do not want to grade goes to the circular file.

BTW Happy belated teacher appreciation day.

Went to Brookfield Zoo have some cool pics I will post up
