Newb...

I joined up a little while back.

Wanted to say Hi and thanks, because I was able to sell my Harley due to this site, and pick up my 05' GSXR 1000. (Thanks Looner, nice smooth transaction!)

Full Akrapovic Exhaust with Power Commander...Put about 600 miles on it since I picked it up Monday night last week. Took all the stickers off...but that doesn't matter due to the new plastics.

Been riding for a bit, know a few people on here...

Here are a few pics, and a few pics of some goodies I have ordered...

Thanks.

I'll need to meet up and go on some rides. I typically am always riding down to SOW on nice days/nights after work.

I hate SOW unless its early in the morning meeting for a ride. Keep an eye on the group ride section.

I haven't gone down to meet up with anyone on bikes, usually going down there to meet up with just a few buddies...

You guys may have seen a white/blue strip twin turbo ford gt, yellow lambo gallardo, porsche 996tt, new s65...they are my buddy Ryans. We'll all meet up down there and find some highway races.

SOW is a great meeting place for early morning rides, or meet up point for a ride down to Byron Dragstrip.

I bought the bike and it had some deep scratches...

The bike was a stolen recovery, and used to be blue/white...but who ever had it, did a decent paint job, but didn't sand down the old paint, and just masked off the stickers, so there are spots where the blue still shows.

I'm going to be doing a custom Pearl white and Black (pearl or matte, can't decide) paint job on her.

And the lower right fairing wasn't installed properly after the full system went on, so it burned a hole thru the plastic (I kind of like it, bad ass battle scar).

Don't know if I am going to keep them or sell them. It is always good to have extra parts or garage decorations (should be moving out of my townhouse in two years and into a new pad with a pull barn and 2.5 car garage).
