It's a bloody triumph mates!!!

2005 Triumph sprint ST - blue with 2400 miles
I got a bike today and rode it from MCC in Villa Park home in heavy traffic - what a blast!!!

Yes, I bought a used bike from a dealer - The guy with the bike I had lined up fed me another bunch of baloney about bike sitting in the dealership for at least another week for recall work. I looked up cyclefocus and found that MCC had the same bike for sale so I went there just to solicit test ride but accidentally had a wad of cash and old plates in my car. I got nailed with the tax, but otherwise I got a nice discount - almost a grand from the asking price, very close to what it sells for from private party.

The bike was tipped over by a salesman on the floor - alternator cover and left fairing are scratched, but will be replaced by dealership for free - so I am good. Otherwise bike has 2 small scratches on the tank, which is plastic, BTW, and other than that spotless.

I would recommend John - salesman at MCC in Villa Park - if interested in eurotrash bikes - he is the man - no bullshit, no pressure, nice composed with sense of humor - a pleasure to deal with.

No pics today, but definetely some will be there tomorrow!

oh - the reason for a bike change - I lowsided in WI 2 weeks ago at about 40 mph - loose gravel all over the road right after apex on off-camber turn..so ST1300 sustained over $4000 damage and was sold to a person with more time on hand to fix it.
Gear rules - just a scratch and a bruise on my elbow!!

Niiice.

Actually, I had my eyes on that exact bike. . Blue '05 w/o ABS, right? I demo'd an '07 last weekend and fell in love with the Sprint. I must have climbed on that '05 ten times thinking... 'should I get another bike?'.

Glad it found a good home. Enjoy!
