powdercoating

Just looking for prices on powdercoating stuffs, how much does it usually run for everything...i mean, everything haha. Frame, swingarm, wheels, rearsets, etc.

Also, what shops are there that do this? I saw one thread on this, but it was only about a website, but i dont see how they do work when they have no listing for phone or address

www.tripageled.com has prices listed for some pretty basic stuff. It cost me $60 to have my rearsets, passenger pegs and gas cap done with return shipping.

Firebretha on here is also starting to do powdercoating. Search his name, he has a few threads about it.

k thanks, i know firebretha does, but i'm assuming that the waiting list is becoming quite long. I'd have small stuff done, but he couldnt do a frame.

Also, tripageled makes you pay for shipping there? Wouldnt be worth it i think for larger items...

thanks for input!

Korrect, I cant do frames and large items yet.

Biggest I can do is fork tubes.

Nah, waiting list isnt a prob, just waiting to get more powder that seems to be doing an awesome job making a close enough match to the OEM frame color.

I have myself and an asian-cowboy doing the work and we are kicking ass getting thru it.

Now, for the custom stuff coming up shortly... that you might have to wait a bit for

But OEM'ish matt black is no prob once it gets in!

also it`s a bit of trip for you but there`s coating specialties in crete il. i`ve had a bunch of stuff done there in the past. think he charged me like 125.00 for a set of rims. other prices were very reasonable imo

Operating a motorcycle. So easy, even a caveman can do it. Knowing how to ride? Priceless.
