There is a "some" square right over my house, but I have yet to see or even hear one.

I'm a Floridian...Im cool with poisonous spiders and snakes and even giant palmetto bugs... I had all of these and more as pets as a kid... but when you tell me that Im gonna have a bunch of germ carrying flying bugs in biblical numbers randomly landing on my back and in my hair.. I'm going to scream like the whimpy girl that I am.

Im seriously going to freak out of something lands on me.

+1. I was gonna start sniping at them from the back window with a BB gun but maybe the Mossberg is a better choice if there's a bunch of them.

Check your backyard, look near areas with open dirt (ie, bald spots in grass, etc).

See those dime-and-quarter-sized holes in the ground?

Those are where SOME of the buggers have already come out!
