Anybody around naperville have some tow straps I could borrow for a day?

My budy left his in his truck at school and I'd hate to go buy some since the ratching ones I'm looking for are expensive on a college student's budget

Anybody around Naperville got a few I could pick up tonight and I'd return them tomorrow night? I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks.

...I guess this wouldn't be necessary if I knew Uhaul rents these things out? I'm delivering the ATV, picking up the bike in my avatar tomorrow by means of a 6x12 trailer and have nothing more then rope to use in my garage

BTW, I'm a nice guy and I'm not gonna run off with your tow straps

I'm not in Naperville--Elk Grove Village, so not really even close --but I've got four ratcheting straps that you can borrow if you want to come pick 'em up.

I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, nor are you here to live up to mine.

I appreciate the offer, but that's a bit too far considering I'll be on the road for 10 hours tomorrow. Thanks again, though.

OK, no problem.

If it makes any difference, I don't require 24-hour turnaround. We'll get them back to me some other time when you're riding for fun or at Strats or something. The only bitch will be picking them up tonight or tomorrow (no chance you're heading north to pick it up, huh?).

I could've done this had I seen it sooner. Sorry.

Yea, it's a little late tonight, I'm leaving relatively early tomorrow, and I'm going west. Thanks anyways

I have a few ratching straps you can use, if you plan to tie down the bike or ATV on a trailer.

I have a few 15' and 6' straps you can use. I also have one vehicle tow ratching strap you can use.

Are you planning to tie down the ATV to the trailer? Let me know if you are interested.

What were you thinking??? You can't catch me!

Hey thanks everybody. The friend that was gonna help me trailer this stuff had to go into work, so I pushed everything back a day. I'll go pick some up from Ace if they're that cheap and leave all of you nice people alone

I was able to scavenge up 2 straps last night from another friend, but I'm gonna go grab some more from Ace a little later. I also forgot to grab a wiring harness for the trailer lights, so I'm a little happy I had an extra day. I just wish it wasn't gonna be so cold tomorrow

Ummmmm I see ya posted same time as I was asking about them.

Yea there pretty cheap to get. I got mine from Farm & Fleet 4/$12.00. There is a BIG R in Morris that's sorta like a Farm & Fleet you may wanna check there for them also.

P.S. If you still need to borrow though I have 4 you can borrow. Just let me know soon. I work 2nd shift.
