Computer question?

Okay this is driving me FU**ING Nuts!

When ever i log onto lets say ebay and if i type in my user name it shows different options until i put it in.

better yet. at the address input for internet i want to type WWW.CHICAGOLANDSPORTBIKES.COM
but at one time i typed www.chicagolandsportbikikes.com and now i have to damn near type the whole string in because of that were as i used to type www.ch and it would fill in the rest.

Where and how in the hell do i clear those out? Is it in a hidden file somewhere that it remembers? Its not obvious like TIF or cookies or history but i sure hope someone knows!

Thanks

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Sorry everyone that did not work.

Example again in ebay i type in (search titles & descriptions)
"motorcycle" and it comes up with anything and everything i typed before with the word motorcycle.

I cleared history/content/offline content/cookies/and pages but it didnt do any good as far as what i am talking about. It's really annoying.

Ahh yes, you want to re-enable Auto-Complete so you dont hafta type out everything (my GOD how lazy can some people BE?!?!)

LOL LOL

Here's how to do it in IE 6.0:

Open Internet Explorer, head to Tools | Internet Options then click on the Advanced tab on the far right. Page down once and you want to make sure that Use inline Auto-Complete ON is checked. Its right under Underline Links options.

There ya go!

Don't worry Rob, I'm not a Microsoft fan either. I only use Windows so I can play games. I'm a Linux guy more then anything.
