Need new shades

Alright so I was looking at the Oakleys cause I need a new set of glasses before I go to Phoenix in 3 weeks. Stopped in at Sunglasses Hut in the mall and I like the BottleCap model and would prefer polarized lenses but that puts em in the $200 range and I can't see spending that much.

So anyway anyone know of a place with great/awesome prices for such or someone that could hook a fellow CLSBer up. If you are affraid to say anything here hit me with a PM and I'll keep it our little secret.

Smith makes some nice glasses! I've been looking at some of them at Sierra Trading post which is a sports and outdoor outlet store.

Speaking of outlets...the Oakley store in the "Premium" outlet mall in Aurora has a bunch of close-outs dirt cheap. Peanut picked up two or three pair of some glasses that were $79 online, for only $29 each pair.

I can't say the pair you want will be on sale, but it's worth a shot.

Me personally, I got screwed by Oakley too many times. The last straw was $200 polarized glasses that were a week old...I went from a very warm building into -10F winter weather....I could hear the frames squeek and one of the lenses SHOT out and skipped across the icy pavement.
As I bent to pick up the fallen lens, the other one popped out.

Oakley refused to even look at them without me paying $79 up front. And the lenses were limited edition color, so they couldn't even be replaced with the same lenses!!!!

Screw Oakley, IMHO.

Right now my favorite glasses are $25 Field and Stream polorized polycarb frameless that I got at Sam's Club two years ago. I've got fantastic vision, and I'm *really* picky with my I was surprised that these $25 glasses kept up in image quality with those $200+ Oakleys.

I truly wish I could find more of these Field and Stream sunglasses...I'd buy a six pack of them so I'd be set for the next 10 years!

Also check out eBay. I got my Oakley Crossfire titanium polarized glasses for cheap. They were brand new and the seller was highly rated.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Ray Bans Polarized FTW.

THe polarized shades make a world of difference if you are light sensitive. . GO to a lens crafters and buy your shades there and tell them your generally insurance company like Cigna etc and they will give you a discount mine was 25% off.

I've got some Fossil polarized shades, they work really well for me. $50 for polarized so if some shit happens it's not that much to replace.
