I picked one up last month on sale for $75 and have the basic $39/month 450 mimunte voice package, plus the $39/month unlmiited PDA data package.

After getting the phone you can downgrade the data pacakage to the old MediaMAX 200 which is another unlimited data package for only $19/month. The AT&T store won't let you choose that package for Windows Smart Phones because they want you to buy the 2x as expensive PDA package. But it's B.S. and the Media Max 200 technically lets you use unlimited Internet and tethering. If you go this route PM me on the data plan details and tetherin info. Or just search the howardforums.com threads about it.

As far as the phone, I love it. Too bad you didn't mention something yesterday, you could have checked mine out.

I have the blackjack and i like it so far. i have had it for 2 months, and i haven't had any problems. my sisters blackjack was a POS, but she got a new one for free. and i am going to look into the media max package thing, that would be sweet to get it for 20 bux.

Ive had the BJ with Cing/ATT for about 6 months. It serves my needs which include excellent reception especially in my office and home, decent speed net access, robust calendar and contacts, and stylish small physical size.

If the BT doesnt pair correctly with my new ride I may be ditching it.

I pay around $120 monthly for 2 phones sharing 1400 minutes and the BJ with the unlimited data plan.

I do recieve some significant corp discounts so add another ~25%.

Is the internet on these phones really worth it? I've not played with any recent phones, but the internet portions just were so clunky and painful it wasn't worth the extra cost.

Honestly, I'm on a 250minute plan with 500txt messages for $35 out the door. I really don't use the phone much, but it's on it's last legs and I need a replacement.

I just called AT&T and dropped my data plan down to the Meida Max 200. Same unlimited internet access for half the price.

I don't really 'browse the Internet' on my phone, but Internet access for things like Google Maps Mobile, or streaming Sirius audio or Slingbox video is friggen cool.

OK so I can drop down to this media max 200 deal on my treo 650 and save money, Does it also include text messages. right now I'm paying close to 50 bucks for thier PDA unlimited max plan with 1500 text messages every month. I can still surf the web and get all my email with this plan?
