Got a train to catch

Well, I'm heading out to catch the train to Los Angeles in a couple of minutes, which is the first leg on my trip out to Laguna for the GP. I don't know what kind of internet access I'm going to have along the way, but I'll be back next week and see you then if not sooner.

Bye, now.

PS: Shad, I promise, no spoilers this time.

I was thinking about the same thing... There was a big WTF would anyone want to spend days on a US train? Flying is enough of a pain.

Enjoy!

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

I've taken the train. It's actually fun if you have the spare time to travel. The seats are 1000x better than airline seats, and the ability to get up and walk around and hang out in the lounge car make the trip enjoyable.

A friend of mine took a train out to Colorado a few years ago and he decribed it as the worst experience of his life. It took so long to get there they had to cut their vacation short and promptly fly back to Chicago.
