the abbington on butterfield/53 in glen ellyn is pretty nice.

Holiday Inn at Willowbrook. Rt 83 and I-55.

Very reasonably priced, food was excellent, staff was exactly what we'd expected.

Also, I'd recommend Admit-One-DJ's http://www.admitonedj.com/
They did an awesome job for my wedding reception.

I've been to a couple events at Monty's in Elmhurst. Near York and Grand I believe. Pretty nice place, but I haven't been to too many banquets over the years.

Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook. Beautiful property, great food, great staff. I worked there for five years as a chef and I still know most of the people who work there.
