Naperville florist recommendations.

I know I am a sap, but it is the 1yr for me and the gf tomorrow. Can anybody recommend a good florist in the Naperville area? Thanks

Phil

Jewel is a good choice for bringing them home yourself, but I would like to have these delivered to the office so all the other women can talk about how lucky she is (bwaahhaaahaa! What they don't know!).

If you plan ahead next time, proflowers.com has always worked good for me. You have to order them a few days ahead of time though.

I had bad luck with them once when I sent some to my mother for Mother's Day; could have been a fluke though...

Not sure if you could get them that quick though. Only reason I recommend them is because my wife works for them

There's a Phillips Flowers on Ogden 1007 E. Ogden Ave. (630) 357-5235

They wouldn't be cost effective so to speak but from a woman's perspective go with those especially for a special occasion and bystander wow factor!

Thanks for the suggestions ladys and gents. I went with Phillips in Naperville and they were not cheap...$75.00 after tax and delivery. They better be good.

Psshh, no shit. I just spent $65 on some flowers to congratulate my girlfriend on a new job. What does she do with them? Puts them outside on the side of the house where we never go. They turned to shit in 2 days from being out in the sun. Why she put flowers in a vase outside I don't know. Next time I'm buying myself motorcycle parts instead.

The one year is important to get flowers...so are thoughtful things like getting your girl some for landing a new job etc...girls also appreciate "just because" flowers for no reason at all other than you love them.

Having them to work...that's a nice touch. It'll give her a day to gloat and "show off" in a sense to other at the office/workplace, plus, it gives her some attention when peoplle ask, "who sent the flowers" and yes, it'll make you look like a standup guy...bonus for you! (double bonus if you get some out of it too!)

Do you mean that there could be a different reason for getting a girl flowers?

That's none of your business

Actually, I buy flowers for my mom who lives out of state and she sends them to me too. Nolan doesn't buy me flowers - he buys me motorcycle parts. That's because he knows me very well
