So who took the plunge?

So who said screw this weather and road to work today anyway. I did, had beautiful sunshine almost the whole way but I did bring my rain gear with. Nothing fancy, well actually have some Suzuki rain pants and then just a cheap rain jacket that fits over my leather, keeps me mostly dry.

I did but it had nothing to do with "Ride to work day", I ride every day. I also only have a 10 mile round trip so its not so bad, I did bring rain gear.

No way. With the lightning and thunderstorms passing over my house as I drove to the train station I was glad I was in my cage.

Beautiful day today!

The storm passed Wheaton at about 4AM, and the roads were mostly dry when I left for work at 6AM.

Fantastic ride in!

Though I was the only motorcycle I saw all morning between Wheaton and Schaumburg.

The SV loved the cool, clean air. She was as peppy as a cheerleader on prozac!

NWS just dropped the forecast to 30% chance of rain. It sure is gorgeous out there. I hope it stays like this.

Silly weathermen. I rode, it looked like the blob was going to pass to the west. I saw one other bike on 94 around North Ave going north, looked like a Ducati Multistrada.

after what the weather did yesterday I figured it would be good to go, just brought the rain gear incase because 42 miles in the rain can really suck and when I get out of work I never wait it out. When it is time to go if you want to talk to me it better be in the parking lot as I'm leaving.

Got wet yesterday, but had to work from home today, unfortunately.
Anyway, no response to my request for special parking area, and no way for me to send an all-employee e-mail to promote. "special permission" required!

I would of if I could of. Seeing how I work out of my car, that might have created an issue. I don't think a computer and printer will fit well on my bike.
