F U Ride to Work Day

I live about two miles from work so I usually ride a bicycle. I thought I'd be a good motorcyclist and stread motorcycle awareness today and ride into work. Well the city of Chicago went and fucked me in the ass with a $50 ticket, in a spot that the parking dudes at my work told me was safe (safe to them meant it had a video camera pointed at it). What a peice of shit today turned out to be.

Anyway, anybody know how it works when you get a ticket with a temp plate? Do they actually go through the trouble and find who the owner is? I know it's easy for them with a regular plate, but it seems like a bit of a paperwork mess with a temp plate. What's the word on the street?

That sucks...have no idea about temp tag and parking tickets...when I lived in Toronto....I ignored every single parking ticket...everyone
